Step 1: Measure Head Circumference
Ensure that your hair is flattened down. Measure around your head along the hairlineĀ using a cloth tape measure. DO NOT stretch or pull the tape measure as this will give you an inaccurate measure. The tape should be just above the ear and along the natural hairline.
Step 2: Measure From Nape to Forehead
Measure the distance starting from the nape (back of neck) over the crown and to the top of the forehead. Remember to start and end on your natural hairline.
Step 3: Measure Temple
Measure straight across from the top of one ear to the other. Follow as close to natural hairline as you can.
Once you have all of these measurements, it is time to find your size:
Wig Cap Size Chart
| CIRCUMFERENCE | Nape to Forehead | Temples | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Ultra Petite/Child | 18″ – 19″ | 12″ | 12″ |
| Petite | 21″ | 13.25″ | 13″ |
| Petite/Average | 21.25″ | 13.25″ | 13.25″ |
| Average | 21.5″ | 14.25″ | 13.5″ |
| Average/Large | 22.25″ | 14.75″ | 13.75″ |
| Large | 23″ | 15.75″ | 14″ |
If your measurements fit you as an Ultra Petite or Large, they must be exact. Any measurements above/below the two aforementioned sizes will have to be custom ordered. If you feel this may be the case, inform your hair provider of the exact measurements so that a custom size may possibly be ordered for you.
